Our client is an interational leading Company and we are looking for a Transport & Export Manager.

Main activities:

Definition of a new area of expertise inside HQ Global Supply Chain Management related to international trades in terms of transportation management and export control. The resource should have solid competence in the field, knowledge of custom regulations and international trades tools, documents and declarations.

- Provides guidance, direction and oversight to assure adherence to export control regulations
- Disseminates information and develops procedures to facilitate compliance with export control regulations
- Providing functional leadership for export control and work closely with customer service
- Conducting global risk assessments, assessing organizational capability, identifying gaps and creating strategies to address them
- Coordinate the project for the implementation of a system to manage preferential and non preferential origin
- Define the tools and practices to implement the internal procedures in terms of custom compliance
- Participate to the definition of new order flows assuring the compliance to the actual regulations
- Understand how the Export Control laws may affect the activities and how to implement and manage new regulations
- Keeping relevant master data updated and supervising the proper collection of documentation from suppliers
-Building and maintaining all elements of an effective internal compliance program) for Export Control in order to manage risk globally
- Developing, implementing and maintaining global processes and governance, allowing risk associated with export control matters to be reduced
- Definition of supply agreement with forwarding companies in terms of service level agreement and costs
- Creation of a tool to control transport costs and their verification with the forwarder's contract
- Work with Indirect Purchasing to create tenders at global level for transportation of goods
- Support branch offices and foreign plants to develop and properly manage transports
Requirements:

- Knowledge of custom regulation, tariff systems and import/export duty and international trade laws
- Leadership skills and ability to provide effective advice and counsel on export control matters
- Ability to engage business leaders to drive cross-functional implementation of procedures and work instructions
- Able to work independently, managing and prioritizing multiple complex tasks
- Able to collaborate with IT to design and implement systems to support managing the function
- Business English knowledge and fluency in speaking
