Responsibility

The Technical Sales Representative will provide technical customer support and front line sales support through proficient use of our client products and services as well as a strong working knowledge of application techniques,
support to customers, assisting them with product selection, answering application questions, and solving issues via phone, email or onsite.

Following, some responsabilities:

- Delivers training to customers on the use and application of the company products, equipment and documentation both
on-site at the customer s location and within the training center.

- Conduct demonstrations of products and transfers the knowledge on our client's process as well as on technical problem solving to the customers

- Performs technical scans and audits at designated customers.

- Actively participates together and as peer to allocated sales representative, in key phases of the sales process to prospects

- Proactively prevents and solves problems of a technical nature occurring at existing customers.

- Conducts and/or assists in the testing process as well as in the implementation of new products and technologies.

- Synchronizes own activities with all department using CRM, up-dates the key customers databases with valid, accurate and complete information (visit, products, equipment etc.)

- Cooperates with the technical department in handling complex technical issues and claims and in educating customers on solutions.

- Supports product development with prototype selection advice and test market execution.

- Maintains allocated technical company equipment in a safe and proper manner.

- Delivers periodical progress reports, proactively submits information regarding trends within the market and provides recommendations regarding improvements in the approach to the marketplace.

- Assists sales department in the implementation of sales strategies and within key phases of the sales process, giving technical expert knowledge to their prospects.

- Promotes the positive company image and develops long-term relations with customers.

- Advises to the upper management on training types recruits partecipants for the relevant technical courses and gains commitment for customer attendance.



Job requirements / Candidate profile

- Technical high school school diploma

- In-depth knowledge of the market and the products

- 3/5 years of relevant experience in paint General Industry or other manufacturing business

- Some technical knowledge of coatings in general Industry

- Native Italian language

- Fluent English (oral and written)

- Good Knowledge of Office (Word, Excel, SAP) systems

- Customer focused

- Strong results orientation

- good communication skills

- Ability to manage multiple deadlines

- International spirit and culturally aware

- Good team worker

- Analytical approach to problem solving

- Ability to understand technical concepts

- basic knowledge relating to health and safety matters under the current Italian legislation
