SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER

Reporting directly to the Site Director, the Supply Chain Manager will provide leadership for all purchasing, warehouse, logistics, waste management, and shipping activities with an effort to control costs while also improving efficiency and accuracy in the management of inventory. Acting as a coordinator responsible for the proper preparation of the production programs ensuring the optimization of the inventory of finished goods and raw materials as well as applying best practices in procurement and supply of plant material aiming to service excellence to the customers.

Responsibilities

First and foremost is the responsibility of Supply Chain Manager to behave and act in each of its functions accordingly to safety guidelines. Also responsible for improvement of safety of the personnel, developing systems to achieve corporate objectives and continuous improvement of results

''Supervise staff, including training, set expectations and define team members roles and responsibilities
Execute the business plan objectives by working proactively with a Management Team
Optimize the use of working capital through good planning, inventory control, distribution, purchasing and overall management of the supply chain
Ensure the correct relationship between the customer demands, the production plan and the master plan capacity, aiming to excellence in customer service and in the management of material resources
Manage the use of tools to measure the quality of our service to customers using indicators PCT, SLA, Postponed Turn Over
Supervise the correct replenishment of raw materials through SAP/MRP ensuring working capital optimization
Propose efficient initiatives to reduce the purchasing cost of raw materials
Manage correct storage of raw materials and finished products, constantly optimizing the space and monitoring compliance with the safety regulations, SOA & GMP

Requirements

University Degree in Engineering or Economics (APICS certification highly appreciated)
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in industrial sites with responsibilities in Procurement, Production planning and scheduling, Customer Service.
Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
Strong administrative and organizational skills
Powerful leadership, and excellent skills in coaching and training
Ability to effectively Technical Knowledge SAP / MRP and other Microsoft Office tools
Knowledge of purchasing, supply management, VMI systems (Vendor Management Inventory)
Leadership of S&OP processes
Fluent English. French will be considered a plus.
