For our client, a multinational company leader in Energy, we are Looking for a Quality Manager

JOB PROFILE
Quality Manager

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Quality Manager serves in a leadership role and develops, implements, and coordinates product assurance programs to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products through the Quality team. Responsible for establishing a culture of innovation within the Quality organization complying
with welding industry s standards. Leading, training and using Lean Six Sigma tools to identify product
and process improvements in lieu of traditional inspection activities and ensuring the delivery of
continuously improving value and compliance to customers and the business unit. Coordinating
Customer, Supplier, Regulatory, and Process issues, for the wire organization

RESPONSIBILITIES
Leading, advising and establishing the company's quality procedures, to meet welding standards and specifications through the EMEAR Quality Managers team.
Coordinating and maintaining controls and documentation procedures to maintain ISO and Welding certifications.
Coordinating all Weld testing certifications and ensuring products are manufactured to the highest
Welding industry and Quality standards
Interfacing with Customers and Suppliers to ensure the company maintains its leadership in Welding System Quality.
Setting standards for quality and using Lean Sigma tools to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
Lead the company to maintain the leading-edge in quality measurement systems, data acquisition and data retention
Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.
Controls and manages significant quality projects.
Some travel to Customers, Suppliers and Company facilities required.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Engineering Degree (Preferably in Metallurgy, Material Science, or Welding Engineering)
Knowledgeable in Welding Systems quality and certifications (ASME, AWS, CEN, DIN. EN ISO etc.)
6-10 years of experience leading and implementing Quality Systems and Lean tools
CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) and/or CSSBB (Certified Six Sigma Black Belt). Six Sigma Black Belt is a Must.
Sufficient presence and influencing skills to be able to deal effectively with all levels in the organization, customers and suppliers..
Effective project management understanding with a quality view.
Good knowledge and experience in driving processes with attention to detail
Italian and English fluency required
