We are looking for a self-driven skilled Regional Risk Control Officer to strengthen and coordinate the risk work based in Rome.
The regional risk officer reports directly to Group Head of Risk and has a dotted line to the Regional Director.
Main areas of responsibility:

- Assist and actively participate in building a robust and qualitative risk management framework that adds value to the business
- Implement group risk control procedures and policies in the region
- Develop regional risk procedures
- Ensure that incidents are managed and reported in accordance with the instruction for reporting incidents
- Ensure that new or amended products, services, markets, processes, IT-systems and major changes in operations and organisation are going through the New Product Approval Process
- Ensure that Risk Control Self Assessments are performed on a yearly basis according to Group Risk Control's directives
- Planning tasks include inviting relevant participants, taking minutes, documenting controls and action plans, etc
- Ensure that up-to-date business continuity plans exist and that they undergo yearly testing at a minimum
- Take an active role in the Crisis Management Team
- Ensure that all staff (including managers) are sufficiently informed about and trained in risk management
- Compile Key Risk Indicators for the area of responsibility and report these to local management as well as to Group Risk
- Control according to Group Risk Control's directives

Desired skills and experience:

- Master degree in Business Administration, Finance or Law
- Minimum 2 years' experience in working with risk management, either from bank, other credit institution or investment bank or from a government entity or management consultancy firm
- Fluent in English and Italian
- Proactive and self-driven
- Team player with excellent communications and networking skills
- Well-structured and process oriented with good analytical skills
- High integrity and highly capable of acting in a second line of defence position.

Our Client offers a fast-paced working environment with traveling around 30-50 of time within Europe.

To be successful in the job the candidate needs to be proactive and self-driven as a person with the ability to network within the organization and communicate with others.
