For the Geosynthetics division, we have been commissioned to search the following professional profile
Regional Business Development Manager Europe - Geosynthetics
The Business Development Manager is responsible for sales, marketing, customer service, budgeting, key-account management and strategy execution of the Business and his team in the assigned region or country (Europe).
Essential duties and responsibilities:
-Has overall responsibility for the assigned Business, manages revenues, gross margins, IFO and expenses in order to meet the profitability target of the BU in his region.
-Exploits the advantages of the value proposition to improve business results and earn customer trust.
-Implements the strategy and the business model, communicates and shares them with the team to achieve BU goals.
-Delivers high quality products, services and processes, innovates and relentlessly pursues higher standards.
-Adheres to and supports credit management policy, monitors and controls Accounts Receivable.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, (other degrees should be considered, MBA is a plus), a 5-year experience in Business Management and proficiency in English (another european language is a plus)
Job specific technical competencies
-Sales Management: Leads, motivates, recruits and trains the sales team. Proposes sales targets and formulates incentive plans. Sets priorities and follows up on weekly and monthly sales results.
-Profit & Loss Management: Achieves revenues, margins and IFO in the assigned territories. Develops and recommends the pricing structure that meets the margin targets. Sets clear rules and procedures for calculating and recording transports, rebates, commissions and other incentives. Monitors and controls Accounts Receivable in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
-Strategy Execution: Implements the strategy and the BU value proposition. Achieves the customer intimacy model. Understands the BU markets, structure and dynamics.
-Budgeting & Forecasting: Leads the team to compile detailed revenues and expense budgets, provides rolling sales forecast by product line and supports stock management.
-Technical Sales Skills: Has technical knowledge of the offered products, services and solutions. Attends exhibitions and educates key market players by organizing seminars and presentations. Takes active part in developing technical communication literature.
