For multinational client company, Experis is looking for the
PURCHASING MANAGER ITALY


Job Description
The candidate will Head the Italian Purchasing Department of the two major subsidiaries company based in Italy.
Under the supervision of the Country General Manager, his/her key missions will be:
1/ Take part in the definition and deployment of the Group Purchasing policy in Italy.
2/ Define and implement the yearly Purchasing plan (activity and progress) and budget.
Maximize Purchasing impact on the country gross margin, track savings and report according to Group rules.
3/ Within the Global Purchasing Strategy defined by Category Managers, implement the Carrier Panel Management policies and practices for the following spend categories: Road transport - General Cargo Road transport Ports and Compound operations Sea - National flows Indirect (general services and supplies, workshops, fuel and other operational supplies).
4/ Lead major negotiations with key Suppliers and related panel management activities to ensure proper coverage.
5/ Supervise tender management activities in his team and sign contracts with local suppliers according to delegation of authority / power of attorney.
6/ Engage Operational Managers in adhering to the defined supplier panels. Deploy and monitor supplier contract implementation in Italy (local and central).
7/ Drive supplier performance: define and implement supplier improvement plans. Track supplier performance in terms of Quality, Cost and Delivery.
8/ Optimize the local organization in terms of human, financial and system resources, including the use of Group Purchasing tools.
9/ Manage a team of 7 people with responsibility for people performance and development. Participate in the global performance management process and be involved in the recruitment process related to his/her Department.

'' Be able to lead a negotiation using available technics and ensuring a satisfactory outcome for stakeholders
'' Seniority and experience: 10 years of demonstrated purchasing experience in multinational Companies
'' Bachelor's / Master's degree or equivalent experience.
'' Good knowledge of English language.
