Our client is a leading multinational corporation. We are looking for a: Purchaising Manager

Main responsabilities:

- Directly manage a team of 5 purchasing buyers to execute the strategic plans to achieve
annual net
- Plan for incoming material deliveries ensure material is made available to the requirements of the
operations
- Drives the Supply site(s) scorecard process for metrics improvement, including but not limited to:
cost out, on time delivery, working capital and quality
- Participate to Supplier Lean Development (SLD) activities with key suppliers to support suppliers to
drive improvements in productivity, performance, service, reliability and processes
- Be point of escalation for the Operations for supplier performance issues like Deliveries and
Quality.
- Support inventory reduction initiatives
- Provides inputs to the Category Managers for the development and execution of category
strategies
- Ensures financial analysis and make vs. buy models are utilized correctly in order to report accurate
material savings data.
- Supplier performance improvement, including but not limited to quality, lead-times and on-time
delivery from vendors
- Savings Funnel as percentual of Spend
- Develop and execute Sourcing plans for Engineering to Order, Repetitive business, After
Market/MRO, New Product Development & Introduction and customer projects.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Finance, Operations, Technical or Business
- Minimum 5 years functional experience, and 3 years of managerial experience in one or more of
the following areas: Supply, Engineering, Finance or Operations. Work experience in a
manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience in implementing supplier improvement programs
-Excellent negotiation skills and contract management
- Experience in e-Sourcing (eg: ARIBA) preferred.
- Leadership skills and cross-cultural awareness
- Advanced analytical and problem solving skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks
- Fluent in English.
