Company leader in irrigation system

On behalf of our client, company leader in irrigation system, we are searching for a Marketing Manager.The candidate will support the Demand Creation/Order Generation (DCOG) and Product Development (PD) Core Process Objectives. Leads the process to systematically accomplish the tasks required to ensure demand, access, and availability which allows sustainable, increasing, and profitable sales. As the consummation of this accomplishment, translates the demand into purchase orders needed to meet financial requirements of the business. Receives work direction from the Sr Marketing Manager or other designated leader. Assesses the market, market segments, product categories, and customer requirements. Assesses the competitive offers, strategies, tactics, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Participates in creating an achievable financial plan which recognizes market dynamics, provides for growth, ensures profitability, includes appropriate expense levels, and allows for investment. Develops marketing and sales strategies for the irrigation market and for each market segment. Efficiently executes tactical plan. Creates goals by key product category by sales territory and distributor and ensures the effective mechanism to generate orders from goal commitments. Creates a bottom-up forecast by key product category. Performs other required duties as needed in addition to the essential duties and responsibilities described above. Supports activities of the Demand Creation Core Process Objectives. Responsible for generating sales, gross profits, budget responsibilities, and controllable profit contribution per the fiscal year plan. Interfaces with all levels of the Division as well as senior management of the company.

Education: Undergraduate degree with Master of Business Administration preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, with experience in consumer durables and two-step distribution channel management. Requires strong written and oral communication skills and proven leadership ability. Must be profit-oriented, analytical, creative, and fiscally responsible.
Training: Demonstrated ability to execute complex projects independently within budget and deadline constraints. Ability to use a computer with business software.
Mathematical skills: Strong analytical skills necessary for performing market and financial analysis.
Reasoning ability: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Certificates/Licenses: None stated.
