an Inside Sales.
The incumbent will support the Project Sales force with bidding activities.
Responsibilities and deliverables include:
Business main responsibilities
Supports the A&C Sales Team and PVC Team with bidding activity
Works on quote and provide complete, competitive and on time quotes aligned to the project Value Proposition (including multi-product quotes)
Evaluate Customer Request for Quotations from a Technical and Commercial perspective
Analyze in details the technical specifications to proper address the requirement versus Sales force and by defining the best fit of scope of supply
Analyze the T&C and by proposing comments/deviation when required in accordance to the internal procedures and DOA (delegation of authority)
Prepare according timing requested by customers first emission quotes, revision and technical queries
Interacts with Application Engineering when necessary to prepare the quotes
Prepare and attend customers Kick-off meetings in order to permit a fruitful and complete handover of order to Project Manager
Define the order inserted in revision zero according the minimum requirement to permit internal processability
Support Project Manager during order execution in case of change the order scope of supply
Implement and improve global quoting process

Lateral Relationships
Provides sales with complete, competitive and on time quotes aligned to the customer requirements / format and value proposition for all quotes (budgetary and firm)
Receives from Application Engineer the costing / pricing guidance for internal products / services
Receives from sourcing or from manufacturer the costing of 3rd party products
Receives guidance from global project sales team to prioritize on best opportunities

Accountability and metrics
Quoting lead time reduction
Quote OTD
Win rate improvement
Improve quoted margins for projects and complex quotes
No bids Ratio

The Candidate Profile
BS/BA degree preferred in technical area or combination of applicable education and experience
5 years in the automation industry or electromechanical product
Fluent in English language (written and spoken) as well as at least one other language

Personality traits and practical experience
Proven track record in delivering results in matrix organizations and complex operating environments
Good written and verbal communication & interpersonal skills (including training skills), with the ability to apply the appropriate skills at all levels/functions of the organization and to customers.
A customer-solution focus, business mind-set focused on the company goals
Accountability for performance, innovation & adaptability, positive energy, respect & teamwork and absolute integrity (winning right)
