HR Assistant Manager will play a vital role in HR functions by defining, developping, and successfully implementing functional and local HR initiatives and Human Resources practices in line and aligned with the Holding's HR strategy. This role includes, but is not limited to, recruitment, on-boarding, organizational development (performance management, training & development, career and succession planning), compensation and benefits, industrial relations, employee engagement and employer branding as responsibility categories and active role in HR development projects in specified areas.
Responsibilities

- Develop and/or revise procedures and guidelines from scratch when needed to provide standardization.
- Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process for blue and white collar roles
- Develop recruitment strategy that aids in filling vacancies efficiently and with the best candidate via utilizing different mediums to recruit. i.e. Social media, industry networking, and cooperation with the universities etc.
- Execute orientation programs for new employees
- Work with all departments to execute the Performance Management program for all employees

- Assist with identifying competency and skills based training needs of the employees
- Organize the training and development programs in-cooperation with line managers and service providers and follow up
- Develop and maintain a positive employee relation environment and conduct customer oriented approach at all levels
- Provide leadership and direction in driving a culture of high performance and accountability
- Help ensure that the Holding's mission, vision and values are pertinent, prominent and practiced in the terminal
- Responsible for dealing and management of the ralations with all worker groups including unions, worker representatives & collective bargaining bodies
- Responsible to maintain key contacts with employer associations & labour ministry officials
- Recommends solutions and advises management on significant employee relations matters.
- Organize social and employee engagement activities for employees and support stronger internal communication within the organization
- Embrace a targeted approach and collaborate with the vocational schools and universities to promote employer branding and to acquire young talents for the organization (participating in the career days, sector days, sponsoring target events, organizing sites visits in the terminals)
- Executes the administration of the payroll and compensation system and methodology, ensuring consistent practices.
- Handles general administrative documents, including employment contracts, status changes (job title, salary grade, pay), separations from employment, and other related matters.
- Prepare and keep track of Headcount plan and budget and work in cooperation with the department heads and analyze the overall staff cost (over time, permanent headcount, subcontractor cost) to develop cost saving areas and to improve operational efficiencies
- Prepare of monthly/quarterly HR related reports and presentations

General Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations & Labor Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Psychology or closely related field (Master's degree in Human Resources Management is preferred)
- Written and oral fluency in English and Italian is a must
- Have minimum 5 years' experience as an HR professional (preferably expert in one of the following functions: recruitment, performance management, training & development, organizational development, and career planning) with an emphasis in organizational design and planning, employment, labour law, employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
- Must be thoroughly familiar with labour and employment law and practices.
- Must be thoroughly knowledgeable in various international human resources standards in the areas of compensation, employee relations, general benefits, employment and staffing practices, and organizational development.
- Must be able to work effectively with all levels of employees, including top, middle and supervisory levels of management including union staff and their representatives
- Technical proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Proven record of presentation (preparation and delivery) writing, reporting and research skills
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Work on multiple projects at once, sometimes under pressure and tight
