General Description:
The Head of O&M will be responsible to lead the O&M activities in assigned region of competence (Europe).
He will report from a functional point of to the group O&M Managing Director of the company. The candidate will be responsible to define with the group O&M Managing Director and with the area Managing Director the best O&M strategy for the plants under management and will be responsible to develop the O&M business in the region and to lead the O&M regional team in line with the strategy and the contractual obligations.
He shall be responsible to manage all the relation with Customers, with partner of the Group, with subcontractors and with Authorities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Management of the EU O&M team
- O&M business development in the assigned region in line with the group strategy
- Operation and Maintenance of the power plants in the region of competence in line with the approved budget and the contractual obligations
- O&M Business development
- Budget definition and management for the entire O&M team and for each managed O&M contract
- Prepare and review periodic report for each plant
- O&M Contract management and negotiation
- O&M team definition, hiring and training
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate is graduated in Engineering or equivalent level, with at least 5/ 7 years of experience in the O&M management of wide solar park the experience in the O&M of power plant of other renewable technologies (mainly wind and Hydro) will be considered a plus.
- Proven track record of generating O&M business development opportunities
- Proven capability to manage direct employee or subcontractors
- Proven capability to manage and negotiate complex Service contract
- Familiar with the safety rules and procedure to adopt in a power plant.
- Fluent in English (the knowledge of the Italian will be considered as a plus)
- Good judgment, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as a member of a multi-disciplinary project team.
- Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company
- Effective organization skills including the ability to prioritize and plan work
- Available to frequent travel (up to 50 )
