The responsibility cover a complete perimeter from planning of the parts, purchasing from internal production and external suppliers, warehouse receipting, incoming quality control and storage, picking, certification and shipment. The organization is responsible for all material services in terms of time, quality and in terms of achieving sales levels to both customers managed directly by the Customer Support Italy and from worldwide supply distribution centers.

Main Responsibilities:

'' Materials Planning Worldwide
- Generate forecast for CS&S materials (spares, tools, repairs)
- Define and develop planning strategies to support Service requirements and guarantee Service Level to Customers.
- Define inventory target and optimize stock mix.
- Define and implement common planning approach to whole CS&S Network.
- Unify worldwide performance measurement by developing a common KPIs dashboard.
- Define CS&S purchase and stock budget, and analyze gaps vs actual.
- Share 5yy budget requirements (spares and repairs) with LH Plants to feed the MPP and allow proper capacity dimensioning, and with main Vendors to obtain Supply Lead Time reduction and performance increase.
- Support Bids Dept by identifying proper support investment (spares and tools) for new Customers.
- Support new product introduction by defining the necessary stock sizing to reach Customers targets.
'' Materials Management

- Overall accountability for the execution of the MRP process for both SPARE and R&O components
- Strategic and tactical decision-making related to balancing Supply and Demand for both Make to Stock and Make to Order.
- Control the inventory levels and optimizes the related mix to prevent shortage or stock excesses.
- Coordinate activities with Procurement, Vendors, Manufacturing Plants and MRO Shops
- Issue Purchase Orders to Suppliers under P&SC delegation and in accordance with frame agreement.
- Overall accountability for the distribution of SPARE parts from LHD HUB to the Worldwide Network and guarantee to continuous stock replacement
- Coordinate repair activities towards the Worldwide Repair Centers

'' Quality Management

- Incoming Quality Inspection, verifying the adherence with the defined requirements
- Assure the serviceability of the parts stored in the warehouse
- Material Certification of the parts to be shipped to the customers, assure the serviceability of parts in compliance with Helicopter Division procedures and Authority regulations

'' Warehouse Operations

- Manage the logistic flow, supervise the activity of the Service provider'' engaged in shipping, receiving and storing of materials and products
- Coordinate the warehouse storage and distribution of the products and materials

'' Customer & Network Orders Management

- Preparation of the annual budget of the sales for spare parts
- Customer Orders Management: respect the spare parts lead times and repair turnaround times, manage spare/repair orders portfolio, for both Civil and Military Customers
- Warranties management validating Warranty Claims and Service Plan claims
- Part returns management of the components return to the Helicopter Division to be repaired
- Network Orders Management, implementing the common and effective way of operation of LH Supply Centres Orders Management
- Distributors management, supporting the Helicopter Division Distributors to respect the spare parts lead times and repair turnaround times
