We are currently looking a Director of Service Southern Europe for our important client.

Director Services is responsible for the Services within the Southern Europe Region.
He/She is responsible for developing the regional technical and support strategy and executing the annual Operating Plan to ensure that revenue and margin goals are met.

Responsibilities

- Manage the service business to reach all targets with agreed profit according to regional budget and in line with the Divisional Mid Term Plan.
- Responsible for providing a correct forecast for the revenue and margin estimate by month, Quarter, HY, FY
- Responsible to adhere to the financial policy s with regards to POC and other.
- Responsible for driving and communicate to sales and other functions on main learning from project implementations and follow up.
- Identify and propose the best organisational set-up for the Services department across all countries in the region
- Ensure that all Divisional processes are implemented in the regional service department and follow up on the governance model, efficiency and profitability.
- Daily management of the Services department (project management- and execution, professional services and customer support.
- Planning and execution of all projects with best possible use of the available capacity and competence
- Manage transformation of the project backlog into net revenues, by proactive management and close follow-up of the project implementations
- Securing the post-calculative margin to be in line with or overshooting the pre-calculative margin
- Realise close cooperation between all other departments and Services to assure transparent and realistic transition of the offering/order to project execution
- Follow up projects with project satisfaction surveys to ensure highest possible standard

Other:

- Assist the Managing Director with necessary updates, analytical production, presentations and important selected initiatives
- Play an active role in the functional team of Regional Directors Services to establish and maintain a divisional Service approach along the specified processes.
- Represent the region in the Global Service Forum

Required competencies

- Excellent leadership skills
- Proven track record as a Manager in Professional Services/After Sales Services/Project in a B2B direct business model
- Msc in Business Economics/Technical Management and 5 years experience in an equivalent management role
- Technical literacy in relevant areas
- Some experience in software delivery business
- Financial literacy with respect to project costs, margin and financial optimisation op projects and services
- Strong understanding of processes, tools and methods within the profession.
- Ability to establish, maintain and develop successful and stable customer relationships
- Ability to pro-actively analyse and address topics in a self-motivated manner
- Excellent communication- and decision making skills
- Willingness to travel frequently when needed
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Fluent in French (spoken and written)
