Purpose of the position: managing and developing the organisation's digital strategy an online activities. Taking action to guarantee the achievement of the campaigning.

Unit Description: we develop the engagement, acquisition and loyalty skills of our new and current supporters.

Main functions:
The position is directly connected to the following functions:
1. Developing and managing the digital communication strategy and enforcing it within the institutional channels (website and social networks) and though e-mail marketing activities.
2. Managing opportunities, tools and digital techniques in order to promote the reputation and impact, with a particular focus on campaigning activities.
3. Supervising and contributing to the strategy management in terms of online promotion and positioning.
4. Coordinating the Unit in view of achieving the goals and carrying out the above functions monitoring and using the resources (Staff and budget) effectively. Creating and maintaining relationships with the internal and external stakeholders.

Main responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this role, in collaboration with other male and female workers, are as follows:
1. Managing and developing tools and techniques for the recruitment and retention of supporters and for the development of fundraising activities through digital means.
2. Managing and developing tools and techniques for the recruitment and retention of the organisation's activists.
3. Collaborating with the Head of Services Unit to guarantee the development, the safety and the accessibility of the organisation's online platforms.
4. Developing online media plans in order to ensure visibility.
5. Monitoring and analysing data on digital communication, together with the Webmaster and the Social Media Officer, in order to elaborate reports on goal achievements and to enhance performance.

Yes

Reports to: Country Director

Roles: Social Media Officer, Webmaster Officer

Other relevant interactions:
Interacts with the Digital Unit's main suppliers, to develop the quality of the services constantly, and with the managers of the single Units, or other relevant roles, to ensure synergy.

Skills:
1. Creativity: creating and implementing ideas and solutions to respond to criticism and elaborating innovating alternatives as opposed to traditional methods and approaches.
2. Team Work: bringing an effective contribution to the achievement of common results, developing consensus and forging collaborations for the achievement of the common goals.
3. Project Management: developing and managing clear working plans and setting goals, priorities and strategies in the medium-long term in light of organisational strategies and the contextual constraints/opportunities.

Technical knowledge:
1. An in-depth knowledge of the tools and techniques required to manage SEO, SEM and advertising.
2. A strong knowledge of analytic tools for data and digital trends.
3. Great knowledge of the main digital communication tools and techniques (integrated web platforms and e CMS) and direct e-mailing.
