International leading Company is looking for an analytical, customer-obsessed Delivery Station Manager for our team in [Location], [country].
Your Role
As our new Delivery Station Manager, you will manage the environment where the delivery of the company orders are directed to our customers. It will be your responsibility to manage the day-today relationships with multiple Delivery Service Providers (DSP s). You will strategically lead a team comprising of Operations Managers, Shift Managers, Operations Supervisors and Operations Assistants. You will communication the vision, coach and mentor your team to ensure that performance objectives are met, build positive employee relations and bench strength for the organization. Specifically, you will:

Driving operational goals and metrics for your Delivery Station
Work with key business partners such as Transport & Sortation, DSP Management, Finance, Loss Prevention, IT, HR, ACES and Engineering
Presenting operational metrics regularly to the senior leadership team
Problem-solve and close gaps between performance and goals
Hire and develop top talent
Create and implement a talent plan for the site including talent acquisition, performance and career management, learning and development, succession planning, and employee engagement.

Basic Qualifications

You will have direct management experience, comprising a salaried, hourly and agency strong workforce from a logistics, manufacturing, engineering, production or distribution environment. You have experience with planning, performance metrics, process improvement, and lean techniques. You will also have experience with the full staffing lifecycle including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions, and terminations.
Being successful in this role means you will continuously improve the efficiency of delivery processes and instill a culture of customer obsession, safety, and best-practice sharing.
Additionally, you will have strong analytical capabilities and a track record of digging into data and finding solutions for a variety of operational problems.
Moreover, you have:

Experience managing third party resources on a regional/national scale
Experience managing contingent workforce in a business with peak seasons
You have a strong bias for action this role is fundamentally about managing and driving production and process improvement through efficiency and change.
Practiced working knowledge of Lean techniques such as Kaizen or Six Sigma
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels
Good excel and data analysis skills
Demonstrate the ability to manage detail, establish root cause and be able to extract and manipulate data
Able and willing to work to flexible schedules/ shifts and commit the time required to get the job done
Excellent communication skills
A Degree in Engineering, Operations or related logistics field
Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is highly desirable
