we are looking for one
TEMPORARY CREDIT MANAGER
The candidate will report to Credit Manager & Local Finance Manager and he/she will provide credit management services to a number of HEU customers within one or several countries.Overall he/she will be accountable for ensuring business customer portfolios are managed effectively,within SLA,by outsourced staff.Personally responsible for a small number of strategic,high value or high risk customer accounts across a number of shared service customers and/or countries. He/she will ensure that key prospects and customers are punctually risk evaluated, payment dates and credit limits are honoured, outstanding debt is minimised and that specific local risk (customer, sector, country) information is fed to business and F&A stakeholders.He/she will be accountable for achieving targets on, and improving, collections, bad debt, working capital, processing accuracy and tur around time (TAT).
He/She has 5-7 years of experience as Credit Manager.
Skills and qualifications:
Qualified/experienced and rounded credit professional
Previous credit experience in a multi-business and multi-national environment.
Ability to understand and apply company credit policy, procedure and systems
Good experience of credit risk tools and techniques
Able to read and interpret financial statements in a variety of currencies and country formats and make sound commercial judgements and recommendations.
Good knowledge of local market, main players and credit and collections landscape
Strong interpersonal skills able to build relationships and influence staff and manager levels of the HBPE customer, offshore team and external credit forums.
Ability to understand the business context and draw an appropriate balance between control and HBPE customer priorities.
Excellent knowledge of English.
Good knowledge of SAP.
The role requires the management of a credit coordinator.
Fixed-term contract with possibility of extension.
