We are currently looking a Channel Manager for our important client.

The Channel Manager represents a range of company products and services to assigned partners.

Responsibilities

- Deliver against personal sales target
- Proactively recruits new qualifying partners
- Responsible for initiating and maintaining highly satisfactory, responsive working relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts.
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned Partner accounts.
- Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners expectations.
- Understand internal capabilities and provide time and support for other team members to be able to exceed client expectations.
- Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.
- Sells through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.
- Manages potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
- Ensure CRM and other business management systems are maintained and updated frequently including forecast of responsible accounts
- Leads solution development efforts that best address end-user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel.
- Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements.
- Drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners.

Required competencies

- 2-5 year s proven success channel sales, assertively selling technology driven products and services to commercial, institutional and or industrial customers.
- Knowledge of the wireless communication sector and the ability to understand technical system configuration
- Experience with Sales, especially proven track record in own sales execution, direct and indirect.
- Track record of value based (complex) solution sales including software.
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communications skills
- Able to build strong relationships across client base at all levels
- Knowing well ComputerGross large Italian System Integrators working with Cisco such as NextiraOne.
- Coming from a company selling similar stuff as ours : telephony middleware
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Able to travel extensively
- Fluent in English and the local language, both written and verbal
