For leading FMGC Company we're looking for an Automation Engineer.



PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To be technical reference for automation system maintenance and to ensure that maintenance, modifications and improvements of the automation systems are implemented at best cost and specified quality.
Act as a second level support for any support request in connection with automation system.
Increase production and maintenance technicians skills in agreement with Technical Training, assuring that they can act as first level support.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Maintenance:
- be the technical reference for every maintenance problems supporting Production and Maintenance technicians in complex situations related with automation systems
- define and improve automation system maintenance policies and strategies, according with Asset Engineer

2. Process Control:
- Ensure continuous, trouble free operation of automated equipment, including all support systems in compliance with applicable standards and procedures.
- Keep updated and integrate the new Company requirements related to process control, recommend corrective actions and projects to increase productivity, efficiency of materials usage, quality and safety standards.
- Develop, modify and bring into service programs for various types programmable automats and process control display systems.
- Develop new reports in order to optimize the process control.

3. Installation and Commissioning:
- Coordinate activities related to electric, electronics, equipment process control installation and modification of production equipment.
- Update the technical documentation with latest modification or improvements.


4. Staff Support:
- Train and assist users for supervision/operating/maintening systems.
- Ensure continuous technical support to production personnel to provide optimum operating conditions of process control & supervision system related to production equipment.
- Provide coaching for electronics technicians.


5. Continuous Improvement:
- Initiate technical development and / or lead / participate in projects in order to improve safety conditions, quality and more effective use of equipment, spare parts and materials.
- Find technical solution, implement and monitor proposed improvements related to equipment.

6. Communication:
- Maintain communication within and with relevant departments in order to find the most timely and cost effective solutions.
- Coordinate to share information about process control, improvement activities, the trainings of new methods and Company affiliates best practices.


- EHS/Compliance:
Adhere to all EHS rules, policies and procedures. Reinforce and propose new and / or additional EHS measures when appropriate.


SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

Education required:
College/University Electronics University degree an advantage

Work experience:
Overall Experience:
3 years relevant operations experience

PC skills: MS Office package
