Per un nostro cliente, multinazionale che commercializza materie prime in Italia, ricerchiamo un/a Sales Manager per lo sviluppo della nuova Divisione Minerals.

For our Client, a Multinational Chemical Company that offers high-purity minerals as well as other specialties for applications in the field of nutritional supplements, foods and animal feed, we are looking for a Sales Manager for the Italian market.
This person will refer directly to the Managing Director in Italy and functionally would deal with the European BU Sales Director at the German Head Quarter.
He/She will promote and offer to the Clients in Italy, a complete assortment of ingredients for all the food supplement productions, some of them brabded products, for different applications also in Functional Foods, Animal Feed and Life Sciences industries in general.
In particular he/she will be in charge of the following activities:
- advice customers on the selection of ingredients according to their needs - possibly in collaboration with internal experts
- management of customer projects from offer submission to samples, the development of specifications and support with serial production
- development of new applications and individual customer solutions alongside Product Development in order to offer the fitting raw materials
- respond through applications engineering advice and a constantly growing product portfolio individually to customer and market demands.

Our candidate will have:
- Completion of studies (Food Science and Technology) or equivalent technical training with relevant practical professional experience
- Professional experience in the technical sale of minerals as well as other specialties for applications in the field of nutritional supplements, foods and animal feed
- Knowledge of the standard pharmacopeias (EP, USP, DAB, DAC) and/or food (E Number, FCC) and feed (Reg. EC 183/2005) regulations would be preferred
- Very good knowledge of English, confident use of MS Office
- Very customer-focused and convincing personality with strong communication skills.
